Planning & compliance

Compliance

Your cage may not meet current rules

Cage geometry and net specifications are written into the rules, and enforcement is on the host. A cage installed twenty years ago can still stand up fine and no longer satisfy the spec it was built to.

  • Cage type and ring configuration against your event schedule
  • Net condition, break strength, and door closure
  • Ground sleeve and anchor condition
  • Written findings you can attach to a budget request
Measurement

Send dimensions, not a wish list

The most common cause of a returned order is a cover or form ordered to the wrong facility dimension. Sand pit covers alone come in nine lengths. Measure once with Curt on the phone and it does not happen.

  • Pit opening, apron, and surrounding clearance
  • Circle diameter and cage gate geometry
  • Runway length and lane width
  • Existing sleeve and anchor pattern
Purchasing

Co-op contracts and your district

Gill holds cooperative purchasing contracts. For many districts that removes the competitive bid requirement entirely, which is usually the longest part of the timeline.

  • Contract number supplied on every quote
  • Works alongside district purchasing portals
  • Often removes the three-bid requirement
  • Requisition detail your buyer will ask for
Freight & install

The part nobody quotes honestly

A cage or shelter arrives on pallets, by freight, on a schedule the carrier decides. Planning that up front is the difference between an install week and an install season.

  • Freight included in the quoted number
  • Delivery window aligned to your season
  • Who needs to be on site to receive it
  • Damage-in-transit claims handled by Curt
